Broccoli Sprouts: Broccoli sprouts are rich in sulforaphane – one of the protective compounds which are found in plants that helps prevent cancer. They can be used as a topper in sandwiches and burgers or added to salads.
Garlic: Garlic has a component called allyl sulphide which is found throughout the onion family. Adding garlic to your meals on a daily basis can help with breast cancer prevention.
Fish: Fish is a great source of omega – 3 fatty acids. Anti cancer nutrition recommendations include limiting your intake of processed meats and red meat which makes fish a great source for breast cancer prevention.
Turmeric: Turmeric contains the active ingredient curumin which fights against breast cancer. Turmeric can be used in your tea, vegetable stir –fry, eggs and soups.
Peppers: Most peppers have some phytochemical that helps fight cancer. You can put them in a vegetable stir-fry, on a chicken skewer or just simply stuff and roast them.
